Our office has three options for you, depending on how much assistance you need. If you are simply looking for rates and want to check on your own, we have provided a link and way for you to do this for FREE! You can shop for an individual ACA plan or look at an Alternative plan such as a Short Term Medical policy or an Association plan for those who are self-employed.
If you require a little more guidance, our office offers two options for consultations for a FEE. Please see below and let us know if you would like our help for a one-on-one consultation and/or additional help in running quotes, checking if you are eligible for a tax credit, sending you quotes and helping pick and apply for plans.
Who says there is no such thing as FREE? Our links allow you to run your own quotes for plans both on and off the Exchange. You can check your estimated tax credit as well as do side-by-side comparisons, look up providers in all the networks to see which plans your Dr. accepts, and apply for coverage.
Using our FREE Links to apply for coverage means that CB Health Insurance will be your agent and you can call our office with any questions you have regarding your policy. You don't have to call a toll free number and wait on hold forever. Our office gets back to everyone in a timely manner and makes sure your questions get answered.
NOTE: You are welcome to go direct through the insurance company as well; either way, you will pay the same price. While the insurance carriers may train employees to answer basic questions, you will not be assigned an in-house agent that you can contact with any questions you may have.
Our office is happy to schedule either a 30-minute or 60-minute consultation to review your options, discuss subsidy eligibility, give general guidance on networks and plans, talk to you about alternatives including Short Term Medical and Christina Sharing plans, and point you in the right direction. These calls generally take 30 minutes, and in that time, we feel you will get a ton of very helpful information so that you will be able to move forward on your own. The fee for 30 minutes is $50 billed at the time of the call. If the call goes substantially over 30 min, you will be billed for the hour.
NOTE: If you are self-employed filing a Schedule C or 1120, ask us about association plans available to the self-employed or visit our webpage under Alternative options:
This includes our office running and emailing quotes to you, performing provider look ups for the various networks and/or calling Dr.’s office to confirm they accept the insurance, estimating the Tax Credit and discussing documentatin needed for Qualifying events, reviewing the quotes and helping you pick the BEST plan that will suit your needs AND assisting in the application process.
In general, this covers about 3 hours of our time to assist in initial call, running quotes, follow up calls, and applying for insurance; however, we have found that our office staff can spend between 5-6 hours assisting our clients with the entire process from beginning to end, including in some cases calling the marketplace with them. We will do what it takes to help you apply and get covered!
